Walk with your God humbly! Contrary to world beliefs, according to the Bible, a Christian is needed to sacrifice earthly pleasures. A main significant sign of the Son of God is to serve others. Steve Bezner posted a tweet saying that sometimes he jokes about what he’d do if he had one day left to live. Eat junk, go crazy, etc. Today it hit me: Jesus knew. And he washed feet. So how can we live a good Christian life?
We learn from the Bible how Jesus Christ washed His disciples’ feet as an act of kindness and humility. This is how we should be; instead of waiting for people to come to help us, we should support and serve the community. In Matthew 23:11-12, we find that the greatest among us will be our servant. Those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.
Every Christian should spread the good news of salvation, and every one of us has a call. God recommends that if we hear His voice, we do not harden our hearts as we did in the rebellion.
Through our testimonies, we share the love of God, and we can influence in a good way people in our society and even may bring them closer to God.
Give up on misconceptions about living a Christian life.
Although there makes some sense in these views of lifestyles, it doesn’t represent the true reflection of Christians. People are scared to come closer to CHRIST because of misconceptions such as there is no fun in life because of Christ, which is pretty sad. Many believe that becoming a Christian stops them from doing what they used to like. There are several misconceptions about a life full of rules and believers monitoring your life, which is wrong. Of course, there is a set of rules, but they stand in the ten commandments of our Lord.
- Churches are not buildings but people. People can knock down all the lovely buildings calling them cathedrals and churches, and the actual and real churches would not be wiped out.
Daily church attendance
I met many people who think it is a must for Christians to attend church every time. They believe that the more a person goes to church, the better Christian they are. That is wrong. But people assume things because they don’t search for answers.
- Good people go to Heaven, bad people go to hell
According to Bible, everyone deserves hell because of sin. But we are forgiven for our sins through the belief and blood of Jesus Christ.
So, good or bad, He’s the only ticket to Heaven, accepting Jesus as your savior.
- There are so many translations of the Bible, so none of them is the real one
People tend to confuse translations with “versions.” The manuscripts we read are offered as “translations” into Eng, and the English language keeps changing and causes frequent updates to the Bible translation.
Read your Bible
Prayers are the primary way to communicate with God, but when we want to Hear His Words, we need to study Scripture. We should read the whole Bible and create a Bible Study Plan.
The words that I speak unto you, they are my spirit, and they are life.

Confess your sins to God
Although the Bible says you must confess your sins to become a follower of Jesus, this isn’t the end of the story. As a human, you’re going to make mistakes. If you do something you know was wrong, pray to God to forgive you and ask Him to help you overcome that sin in the future.
According to 1 John chapter 1, verse 9, God will be merciful: “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”
Have a close relationship with Him
You can revive or start a new relationship with God and live a good Christian life! He’s waiting for you, and you should talk to Him. Just as with any friend in your life, communication is essential to strengthening any relationship.
The next step to achieving a closer relationship with Jesus is to obey God and His commandments. Be mindful and be grateful for your life.
Join a Christian group
An important step to strengthen your relationship with God is to join a group of people who seek the same things as you: Jesus Christ. In some churches, there are groups where God’s word is taught, and you can find their believers with whom you can worship freely and talk about God. You should find fun and friendly activities that will surely enrich your life.
“And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.”

Treat people with forgiveness and love
If God forgave you, you must forgive your brothers and assisters someone who hurts you; try to offer them forgiveness, just like God did to you. Support and encourage the people you meet because everyone is fighting their battles on their battlefields. In James 1:19-20, the Badvisesce” Beo, be quick to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger.”
Rachel Joy Scott wrote that she was always drawn to hands. It’s because it’s the way that we touch people. Compassion is the most excellent form of love that humans have to offer. If one person can go out of their way to show compassion, it could start a chain reaction. How do you know that true beauty, unity, and compassion won’t improve the world? Tomorrow’s not a promise… but it’s a chance. You might start a chain reaction. And what’s behind all of this is my faith.”

Share your faith with others.
In the Bible, Jesus says we should be proud to share our faith. Some years ago, a kid told me something important: I like that you are not afraid to show your beliefs and are proud to spread The Word of God. People often judge you because of this, but I respect you.” It moved me so profoundly. We need to share our faith because we may not know, but somehow it can impact someone’s life.
“You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on its stand, giving everyone in the house light. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in Heaven.”
Try to avoid the temptation to sin.
This is hard, but everyone has a cross to bear. If you want to live a good Christian life, you have to avoid sin. In 1 Corinthians chapter 10, verse 13, The Word of God says, “No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to humanity. And because God is faithful, He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.”
Pray constantly
God has called us to be His Hands and Feet. He has called us to be people of prayer. To pray constantly means to talk to God several times and, in some moments, to think about it, to be liked if God will allow you to do that or the other thing. Prayer pass by limits. Consider God as your best buddy in this life. He’s the only one who knows your accurate colors of yours. Don’t be ashamed to tell Him how you feel. He understands and works out everything for your good.
Trust Jesus
Walking with God is complex, and trusting Him is even more difficult sometimes. These are not words to convert anybody, I; Int to let you know about my beliefs. Jesus gave his life to us. And this is why we should trust Him, He loves us deeply, and He has a plan and a future for our lives.
