And the Lord said to his disciples. As the lightning comes out of the east and flashes until the west, so will the coming of the Son of Man. Will Jesus judge the world? For where the watchman will be, there the vultures will gather. And straightway, after the latter days, the sun shall be darkened, the moon shall not give her light, the stars shall fall from Heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall shake. Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the Earth will mourn and see the Son of Man coming in the clouds of Heaven with power and great glory.
Jesus will judge all the world’s nations when He comes to Earth. To be ready for His coming, we must watch, pray and do good works. For He will send His angels with a great trumpet blast, and they will gather His elect from the four winds, from the ends of Heaven to the other ends.
Learn from the fig tree the parable, when its bud becomes tender and sprouts leaves, know that summer is near. Likewise, when you see all these, know it is near the doors. So, please keep in mind that you never know the hour The Son of Man will knock on your door. But you know that if the master of the house knew the thief was coming at what time of night, he would watch and not let his house be broken.
Who is the judge of all the Earth?
God is holy, and His judgments are. We always blame someone else until we finally make God guilty. Only the unimaginable happens: in Jesus, God takes all the blame. God is perfect in goodness, justice, selflessness, love, and nothing impure can resist standing in His presence. We have done wrong many times, and no one deserves to have the right to enjoy His undivided company after judgment, after checking the conformity of our deeds and thoughts with God’s character. This is Heaven, the experience of the unmediated presence of the Creator. This is why Christ’s sacrifice was necessary. The main question is will Jesus judge the world? As it says in the Book, now dismissal has been shown.
God and Jesus are the judgers of the entire universe and Earth. He, together with His Son Jesus Christ. God’s judgments are beyond the limits of the human subconscious. God is perfection, Supremacy, and Truth. Are you questioning a misjudgment? Going by your logic, I would like to ask: Why? He has everything, and our souls hang in His Hand. But walking by faith, you will understand that all He does is gracious.
Why will Jesus judge the world?
After death, the soul goes to Heaven or Hell, according to its deeds on Earth. The Last Judgment will come at the world’s end when God can no longer bear men’s wickedness, unbelief, and evil. The Antichrist will arrive at the end of the world, will persecute Christians, and those on his side will burn with him in Hell. Before the Last Judgment, all the dead will be resurrected. Will Jesus rule and judge the nations? God the Father will judge each man according to what he did on Earth. If they did only sins, in Hell, but if they did much good, in Heaven.
What does God say about being prepared?
The private judgment follows immediately after the death of each of us. Christ makes this judgment. Will Jesus judge the world? Since people always die, personal decision takes place without ceasing. Remember that besides personal review, there is also universal judgment, which will take place at the end of the face of this world. The particular decision is called provisional because only the soul is judged.
For this reason, man receives only a part of happiness or suffering. They will be complete after the universal judgment when the Resurrecbody’s Resurrection occurs. I want to mention that we do not receive a final reward or punishment because man has done his deeds with the body. Therefore, only after the Resurrection of the body can we speak of absolute happiness or suffering.
God says to be prepared because we never know the day, hour, or minute when His Son will come to Earth. God also says we must prepare ourselves with good works, fruits worthy of repentance. After man’s death, the soul comes to the particular judgment of God, after which it enters a state of happiness, which we call Heaven, or a state of unhappiness, which we call Hell waiting until the Final Judgement Day.
How can we prepare for the Second Coming?
Man passes into eternity with the burden of the deeds he has done in his temporal life, good or bad, acts which confer on him, there, in Heaven or Hell, the status of happiness or unhappiness to a greater or lesser degree, according to the distance that each has freely placed between himself and the will of God. To prepare for it, we must often say: Will Jesus judge the world? And know that repentance is first proclaimed in the Holy Scriptures by John the Baptist, who baptized in the wilderness, preaching the baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins. The Saviour Jesus Christ and later the holy apostles called people to repentance.
To prepare for the second coming of Jesus Christ, we must repent¹ and bring only good works before Jesus to become true Christians.
Repentance is one of the seven mysteries and is primarily about acknowledging sins committed, repenting, and resolving not to engage them again.
6 Ways to prepare for Jesus’ Second Coming:
To prepare for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, you must follow the next steps, and you may also want to know the Creed of faith in Jesus Christ and read and pray it.
1. Repent from your sins:
To be forgiven by God, you need to know that He can forgive everyone, and even the great sins are not yet known to everyone; even more so, the sins considered to be lesser are not known. Through the devil’s cunning, the latter can easily fall prey to oblivion. We can liken minor sins to sand if we liken great sins to stones. When we go to the confessing priest to confess our sins and be freed from their weight, the devil seeks to darken our minds so that we no longer remember our sins.
2. Accept Jesus in your life as your Lord and Saviour:
By accepting Jesus, we accept Eternal Life. Jesus Christ’s name is established in the New Testament, included in the first Christian confession of faith to acknowledge Jesus of Nazareth as Messiah, Son of God, Lord, and Saviour: “And let every tongue confess to the glory of God the Father that Jesus Christ is Lord.” The equivalent of the Hebrew word Messiah which means “God’s anointed” – Messiah, is not a proper name but a title referring to Jesus’ divine origin and mission, especially His ministry as a priest.
Start your life as a Christian.
The Christian life is the way to Heaven. Only when the two elements, human and divine, are brought into contact is true life attained. The Christian life is defined by the union of these two persons, who are entirely separate and distinct. Only the marriage of these two extremes leads to what can rightly be called a ‘Christian life.’ The human finds life only when he comes into contact with the divine.
4. Prepare yourself for trials:
At the time of Jesus’ acceptance, there will be trials from Satan. People have always complained of various sufferings, misfortunes, and diseases. Almost all of them also complain about harsh conditions. And we should not be surprised by this. The present life is nothing but preparation and a path for the future. As one spends the present life, one will receive the reward in the next life: either happy or unhappy.
5. Cultivate good deeds as a Christian person:
You can know a man by how faithful and kind he is. When you can see by his deeds, you know that he follows Christ. The faithful one likes it. To do good, and every good thing will do. Let him worship God. And every interest, in turn, the Lord will remember and write it in a book of remembrance. So let man accumulate good deeds after deeds, adorning Him with the crown of eternal life.
Prepare to be rewarded by God Himself.
He will one day return on the clouds of Heaven and call all his elect from all the ends of the Earth. He said, Behold, I come quickly; my reward is with Me, to give to every man according to his work. If you love God, what kind of reward will you receive? It may be answered that God Himself is our reward, and any other compensation is displeasing to God. Yet the Bible is full of promises, and God loves to offer a prize for the one who obeys Him.
Getting into Heaven is based on the merits of the sacrifice of Jesus, and our reward in Heaven is based instead on our way of life. What matters is what we have done and how we have lived after accepting the redemptive character of the sacrifice of the Son of God. In God’s Word, we are presented with several possibilities of reward in Camecrowns.
What reward you’ll get from Jesus’ hand?
- The crown that cannot be wished away, the crown of champions (1 Corinthians 9:25-27)
“All who fight in the common games are subject to all kinds of defeats. And they do this to obtain a crown that can be crowned: let us do this for a crown that cannot be crowned. So I ran, but not as if I didn’t know which way I was running. I fight with my fist, but not as one who strikes the wind. But I deal roughly with my body and keep it in my grasp, lest I will be rejected by having preached to others.”
- The joyful crown (1 Thessalonians 2:19)
“For who is our hope or joy or crown of glory? Are you not before our Lord Jesus Christ at His coming?”
- The crown of righteousness (2 Timothy 4.8)
“Now the crown of righteousness awaits me, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on that “day.” And not to me only, but also to all those who will love his coming.”
- The crown of life (Revelation 2:10)
“Be faithful unto death, and I will give you the crown of life.”
- The crown of glory (1 Peter 5.4)
“And when the Great Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that cannot be predicted.”
